All renters must be 18 years of age or older to enter into a rental agreement with Salt Lake Happy Kids. -
Identification
A valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID is required at the time of delivery or contract signing to verify identity and eligibility. -
Right to Refuse Service
Salt Lake Happy Kids reserves the right to refuse service to any individual or organization, for any reason, including but not limited to unsafe conditions, non-compliance with company policies, or prior misuse of equipment. -
Payment Policy
Full payment must be completed and verified prior to the start of the rental period. A valid payment method must be presented at the time of booking or before delivery. No equipment will be released or set up without confirmed payment. -
Rental Agreement
All renters are required to review, complete, and sign the official rental agreement prior to delivery or use of any Salt Lake Happy Kids property. The agreement outlines the renter’s responsibilities, terms of use, and liability provisions. -
Purpose

Delivery Area and Fees
Deliveries are available within designated service areas. Delivery fees are based on location, order size, and access conditions. Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside our standard coverage area or for challenging access locations. -
Customer Responsibilities

Driveways, walkways, and entry points must be clear of obstacles before our team arrives.

The customer must provide accurate delivery instructions and be present (or have a designated representative) during delivery and pickup.

No Self-Transportation
Customers are strictly prohibited from loading, unloading, or transporting Salt Lake Happy Kids property. Any unauthorized transportation will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and possible charges for damages. -
Liability for Access and Setup
Salt Lake Happy Kids is not responsible for delays or complications caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or inaccurate information provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring safe access for delivery staff and equipment. -
Refunds and Exceptions
No refunds or discounts will be provided for misunderstandings regarding this policy, inaccessible locations, or events canceled due to transportation-related issues caused by the customer
Cleaning

Return Condition
All rented items must be returned clean, dry, and in the same working condition as when they were delivered. Customers are expected to properly care for the items throughout the rental period. -
Inspection
Each item will be inspected upon pickup by Salt Lake Happy Kids staff to ensure it is returned in proper condition. Any damages, excessive dirt, or missing parts will be documented at that time. -
Fees and Charges
Salt Lake Happy Kids reserves the right to charge cleaning, repair, or replacement fees for any item not returned in satisfactory condition. Charges will be assessed based on the extent of cleaning or damage required to restore the item to rental-ready condition. -
Customer Responsibility
The customer assumes full responsibility for all rented equipment from the time of delivery until it is picked up and verified by Salt Lake Happy Kids staff.
Cancellation / Deposit Policy
Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Reservation and Deposit Requirement
Items are only reserved with a paid deposit. If a deposit has not been received, rental items remain available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not guaranteed until payment of the required deposit has been confirmed. -
Deposit Refunds and Cancellations
Salt Lake Happy Kids offers a flexible and customer-friendly cancellation policy.-
If the rented items can be re-rented to another customer, your deposit will be fully refunded.

Refunds are only issued after the replacement rental has been completed and paid in full.

The more notice provided, the greater the chance that a replacement rental can be arranged and a refund issued.

Future Credit Option
If the item cannot be re-rented, 100% of the deposit will be applied as a credit toward a future rental of any item.-
A new deposit must still be paid to reserve another item.

The credit will be applied to the remaining balance due at the time of the new rental.

Late Cancellations
Cancellations made after 9:00 a.m. on the day prior to the scheduled delivery (within 24 hours of the reservation) will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit. No refunds or credits will be issued for late cancellations. -
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, the 24-hour cancellation rule will be waived, and the deposit may be used as a future rental credit.-
If the items are re-rented to another customer, a full refund will be issued instead of a credit.

Determination of what qualifies as inclement weather and when this policy applies is at the sole discretion of Salt Lake Happy Kids.

Customers are encouraged to plan for an indoor or alternate location in the event of bad weather.

Right to Modify or Refuse Service
Salt Lake Happy Kids reserves the right to refuse or modify any reservation in the event of unsafe conditions, weather-related risks, or logistical limitations.
Holiday Pricing & Details

Salt Lake Happy Kids observes special pickup and drop-off times on holidays. Due to increased rental volume and limited staffing, standard delivery and pickup schedules may not apply. Customers will be notified of any adjusted delivery or pickup times when confirming their reservation. -
